Your Impact
Supporters have expanded over time to include not only corporations but also individuals and foundations. In 2024, the VFIC embarked on a mission to significantly increase student scholarships and other financial support, launching a fundraising initiative to raise $20 million.
The Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting 17 of Virginia’s independent institutions of higher education. Contributions may be made by check, major credit cards, gift of securities, planned giving, and named scholarships. Gifts are tax deductible and distributed to all 17 member colleges and universities. Listed below are several ways that your business, foundation, and you as an individual may contribute to the VFIC.
